Linda Webster, Dental Assistant
Linda was born in Winchester VA. Linda has lived in WV for the most of her life. She is the 7th of 8 siblings whom are located mostly in WV. Linda is married to a wonderful partner and friend of 39 years and has one daughter and one granddaughter. Makaylynne is my granddaughter and a handful, always into something and never runs out of energy. Linda says that Makaylynne is what keeps her young and on the go. Linda and her family moved to Sneads Ferry in May of 2019 with her husband Greg and granddaughter Makaylynne. Linda and her family had been vacationing in this area for over 10 years and finally decided to move to this area. Linda is so happy to be working with Smith’s Family dental team. Linda has been a Dental Assistant since 1997.
Her story is kind of different than most dental assistants. Linda was approached by the Health Center Administrator as to possibly working as an On Call dental assistant. Linda was working as a waitress and the staff from the Health Center would come in for lunch most days. Well, the administrator stated that one of her employees told her about me and thought that I would be a great fit for this position as On call dental assistant and asked if I would be interested in coming in to meet the Dentist and hanging out for a day. Well I did not know what to think of this, since I never had any idea that I would even be interested in doing any kind of dental work. So I talked it over with my husband and decided to take a chance and see what it was like. Needless to say, I really liked it and have been doing it ever since. I worked with the Health center for about 3 years before going to work in Harrisonburg VA and just leaving that office in May of 2019 to join the team of Smith Family Dentistry in Sneads Ferry NC.
Linda is knowledgeable in all aspects of dentistry and loves working with the public to help them feel at ease in the dental chair. I love it here and hope to finish my career with this practice. Aside from working with the dental team Linda loves to spend her time with her granddaughter and there family dog (Baxter). She loves to go to the beach and surf fish with her husband every chance she gets. There is nothing like catching a fish from the surf, so much fun. Linda is excited to work with a great team of doctors and staff and hopes to help the practice grow.
